Clermont, Fl. – The College of Saint Elizabeth's softball team (1-9, 0-0 NEAC) dropped its final two games in Florida, 11-0 to Concordia University of Chicago and 8-1 to the United States Coast Guard Academy on Friday morning.

In the top of the first of game one against Concordia University of Chicago, the Cougars pushed two runs across the plate to take an early 2-0 lead. In the bottom of the inning, Heather Passaro and Rachael Romer led off with back to back singles. After Concordia added a run in the top of the third, the Eagles threatened in the bottom half of the inning, putting two runners on with one out. After a fielder's choice, Caitlin Gibson lined a single to right, but Megan Lapinski was gunned down at home plate, ending the inning. Despite the Eagles putting the leadoff batter on base in four of the five innings, CSE was unable to add any runs in the final two innings, dropping game one, 11-0.

The Coast Guard plated a run in the bottom of the first inning to tie the score at one.
