PURCHASE, N.Y. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's women's volleyball team (10-14, 4-4 NEAC) ran past Purchase College for its fourth straight victory with a 3-0 (25-11, 25-11, 25-11) win on Monday evening.
Rhonyelle Sowell paced the Eagles with six kills and two blocks.
Maura Farley finished with eight assists, six digs, and three service aces while
Jessica Garreffa added 17 digs.
CSE dominated all three sets, allowing a total of 33 points in the match. The Eagles had runs of 10-1, 8-0, and 5-0 in the second and third sets. The Eagles also dominated on serve, finishing with 13 service aces.
CSE returns to action for the biggest game of the season on Saturday when it travels to Penn State Berks for a 10 am match. A win over Berks would clinch the fourth seed in the south divison of the NEAC Postseason Tournament.
