The Eagles got off to a good start in set one, opening up a seven point lead late in the set. Pratt staged a comeback, however, winning eight of the final nine points to take set one, 25-23.

The Eagles stormed out of the gate in set two, winning 10 of the first 11 points. CSE's offense was in top form in set two, tallying 12 kills and zero attack errors. The Eagles continued to pour it on in the set, winning the final three points to take the set in commanding fashion, 25-8.

After dropping the third set 25-12, the Eagles found themselves in a tight battle late in set four. Trailing 22-20, the Eagles won the next two points to tie the score up. Despite the Eagles comeback, Pratt would not back down, winning three of the next four points, taking the final set, 25-23.

In game two against Old Westbury, the Eagles got off to a much better start. CSE took the first set 25-10, which included a 7-0 run and a 6-0 run. The Eagles had an all around solid start to the match, finishing the set with eight service aces and zero attack errors.

After another stellar second set in which the Eagles won 25-17, Nicole Morea continued the hot offense in set three. Morera served four straight winners to give the Eagles a quick 4-0 lead. After the Panthers won the next three points, Yasmin'na Muhammad blistered a perfectly placed spike, giving the Eagles a two point lead. The Eagles built a seven point lead before the Panthers won the next five points to slice the lead to two.

Determined not to let the set slip away, the Eagles ran off an 8-1 run to open up a 18-12 lead. The Panthers managed to get within three late, but the Eagles held on, taking set three, 25-19, and winning the match 3-0.
