Morristown, N.J. – The College of Saint Elizabeth's lacrosse team (1-12, 0-7 NEAC) dropped a conference game to Morrisville State on Think Pink Day, 16-0.
Morrisville scored 11 goals in the first half to take an 11-0 lead into halftime. In the first half, Nicole Morera had a team high two shots on goal for the Eagles while Maria Trujillo added five saves in net.
The Eagles defense continued to fight in the second half, holding the Mustangs to six goals. The offense was unable to gain any traction however, dropping the contest 16-0.
During the game, CSE took donations as part of Think Pink Day that will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to support breast cancer awareness.
CSE returns to action on Friday when they host Penn State Abington at 4 pm.
