Morristown, N.J. – The College of Saint Elizabeth's lacrosse team (1-13, 0-8 NEAC) was edged in a conference matchup by Penn State Abington, 12-3 on Friday afternoon.
Midway through the first half, Ashley Morera scored the Eagles first goal of the game on a breakaway. Abington scored seven goals in the first half to take a 7-1 lead into halftime.
In the second half, Kiana Cunningham netted her first goal of the game at the 6:14 mark. Less than a minute later, Morera scored her second goal of the game off a free position shot. Abington added five goals in the second half to take the game 12-3.
CSE returns to action on Saturday for Senior Day against Bryn Athyn at 2 pm.
