Morristown, N.J. – The College of Saint Elizabeth's lacrosse team (1-9, 0-5 NEAC) fell in a conference match to Lancaster Bible College, 13-5 on Saturday afternoon.
After the Chargers scored the first goal of the game, Ashley Morera tied the score up with a goal at the 24:01 mark of the first half. After Lancaster scored the next four goals, Morera added her second goal of the game off a free position shot, getting the Eagles to within 5-2. The Chargers added two goals late in the first half to take a 7-2 lead into halftime.
After the Chargers scored the first four goals of the second half, Morera scored her third goal of the game with 16:39 remaining. With 14:15 remaining, Kiana Cunningham scored her first goal of the game to get the Eagles back within eight. Five minutes later, Cunningham added her second goal of the game off a beautiful assist from Amanda Inacio, getting the Eagles within 12-5. The Chargers added a goal late in the half to take the game 13-5.
