Williamsport, Pa. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's tennis team (0-1, 0-1 NEAC) dropped their season opener to Penn College, 8-1 on Saturday afternoon.

In the second singles, Johana Hernandez picked up her first victory of the season with a 6-2, 4-6, 10-8 win over Morgan Blackwell. In her first career match, Jasmine Brown played a tight match in fifth singles, before dropping the match 7-6, 7-3, 6-2.

The Eagles return to action on Wendesday when they host John Jay College at 3:30 pm.
