Danesha Triplett scored a season high 28 points and grabbed an incredible 21 rebounds to lift the College of Saint Elizabeth's basketball team (10-14, 10-9 NEAC) over Penn State Berks, 85-83 on Wednesday evening.
Triplett's 28 points and 21 rebounds were both season highs.
Jasmine Poole also had a stellar game, scoring 21 points and grabbing a season high 14 rebounds.
Deja Ingram added her twelfth double-double of the season, finishing with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Shanelle Koch added 27 points and 10 rebounds for the Nittany Lions.
After the Eagles fell behind 20-16 at the end of the first period, CSE and the Nittany Lions played even over the next two periods, each scoring 41 points as the Nittany Lions took a 61-57 into the final quarter.

Ashley Pledger buried a three-pointer with 7:03 remaining to give the Eagles a 69-65 lead. Despite CSE opening as big as a seven point lead, Penn State Berks battled back to take a 74-73 lead with 4:36 remaining in regulation. With the game tied at 75,
Amerisse Rogers scored the next four points to give CSE a two possession lead. The Nittany Lions managed to get within one with 30 seconds remaining, however Rogers hit a last second free throws to clinch the two point victory.
The Eagles dominated on the glass, out rebounding the Nittany Lions 68-34. The Eagles totaled a season high 38 offensive rebounds as Triplett accounted for 13 of the 38.
CSE returns to action on Saturday for the final game of the season when they travel to Penn State Abington for a 1 pm tip.
