Morristown, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's women's basketball team (4-4, 2-1 NEAC) was edged in its final game of 2016 by Old Westbury, 65-45 on Tuesday afternoon.
Jasmine Poole finished with a team high 16 points while
Danesha Triplett added 10 points and seven rebounds.
After trailing by 15 at halftime, the Eagles managed to slice the deficit to eight with 4:24 remaining in the third quarter. Poole added a late bucket to end the quarter as Old Westbury took a ten point lead into the final period.
The Eagles tried to rally in the final quarter, but was never able to get closer then eight before dropping the contest, 65-45.
