Morristown, N.J. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's volleyball team (6-8, 3-4 NEAC) picked up an opening NEAC weekend win over Wilson College, 3-0 (25-13, 25-11, 25-12) on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles dominated from the start, finishing the first two sets with eight and ten kills, respectively. CSE used a total team effort on Saturday, ending the match with 25 kills, 25 service aces, 25 assists and 26 digs.
Freshman
Yasmin'na Muhammad had another stellar game, finishing with 11 kill and two blocks. Stephanie Mitarotond had a phenominal game serving, finishing with a season high eight service aces.
Mikaela Gongora added six aces and eight digs while
Nicole Morera chipped in with 22 assists.
The Eagles return to action on Sunday when they take on Gallaudet at 10 am and Penn State Abington at 2 pm on day 2 of the NEAC weekend.
