Brooklyn, N.Y. - The College of Saint Elizabeth's volleyball team (4-2, 0-0 NEAC) swept a Saturday tri-match hosted by Pratt Institute.
In game 1 against host Pratt, the Eagles jumped out early and never looked back, winning in 3 sets (25-19, 25-19, 25-18).
Carolina Marte dominated at the net, setting a career high with 17 kills.
Nicole Morera continued to dish out assists at the net, totaling a season high 38. Marte also added 13 digs while
Renata Miranda added 6 digs for the Eagles.
In game 2 against NJCU, the Eagles continued their hot streak, taking the game in 3 sets (27-25, 25-16, 25-23).
Christy Marte lead the Eagles on offense with 9 kills and 7 blocks. Twin sister Carolina had a game high 16 digs. Co-Captain
Nicole Morera continued her strong play at the net, tallying a game high 26 assists.
The Eagles have won 4 matches in a row including 12 straight set wins. CSE will look to make it 5 straight when they host The King's College on Wednesday at 7:30 pm.
