Morristown, N.J.- The College of Saint Elizabeth's lacrosse team (0-13, 0-9 NEAC) fell on Senior Day to Morrisville State, on Sunday afternoon.
Morrisville got out quickly, scoring 5 goals in 5 minutes to open the game. Riley Hosey got the only shot off for the Eagles in the first half while Sarah Briant had 8 saves in net. Morrisville added 9 more goals in the first half to take a 14-0 halftime lead.
At halftime, seniors Carla Martinez and Sarah Briant were honored as part of senior day. They were presented with framed photos as well as flowers for their contributions to the lacrosse team throughout their careers. Coach Fitzgerald also presented the 3 Morrisville seniors with flowers to honor their contributions as well. Morrisville added 7 goals in the second half to take the game 21-0.
CSE returns to action on Tuesday for their season finale when they host Cedar Crest at 4 pm.
