Purchase, N.Y.- The College of Saint Elizabeth's lacrosse team (0-1, 0-0 NEAC) fell in the season opener to Purchase College 18-1 on Tuesday night.

Purchase got off to a quick start, scoring 7 goals in the first 10 minutes of the game to take a quick 7-0 lead. After giving up 2 more goals, Ashley Morera got the Eagles on the board by scoring her first career goal. Purchase would add 5 more goals in the half to take a 14-1 lead into halftime.

Morera had 3 shots in the second half however was unable to capitalize on any. Purchase would add 4 goals in the second half to win the game 18-1. Morera finished with 6 shots including the goal. Sarah Briant added 4 saves in net for the Eagles.

CSE returns to action on March 17th when they travel to Penn State Abington.
