Marcy, N.Y.- The College of Saint Elizabeth's soccer team fell at SUNYIT, 13-0 on Sunday.
SUNYIT jumped out early, scoring the first 3 goals of the game just 12 minutes in to take a 3-0 lead. Mariah Lavornia kept CSE in the game early, making 3 nice saves. SUNYIT continued to score however, adding 4 more goals before halftime. Lavornia finished the half with 9 saves as the Eagles trailed 7-0 going into halftime.
Lavornia continued to save shots in the second half, adding 2 more to her total just after the break. SUNYIT would tack on the first goal of the half 11 minutes in to take an 8-0 lead. Valerie Lasko had the best offensive moment for the Eagles, getting a shot off, just missing the net wide. SUNYIT would add 5 more goals in the second half to win the game 13-0.
The Eagles return to action on Saturday when they host Cazenovia at 1 pm
