Cobleskill, N.Y.- The College of Saint Elizabeth's soccer team lost in it's NEAC opener at Cobleskill, 14-0 on Saturday.
SUNY Cobleskill got on the board 5 minutes into the game, putting a goal passed CSE, taking a 1-0 lead. Despite giving up the early goal, Mariah Lavornia saved 3 straight shots to keep the Eagles in it. The Tigers however, would add 3 more goals in the next 10 minutes to take a 4-0 lead. The Tigers would add 3 more goals before halftime to take a 7-0 lead into the break.
The Tigers would continue the scoring in the second half, adding 3 goals in the first 10 minutes to take a 10-0 lead. Maria Trujillo would get the first shot on goal for the Eagles, unfortunately being Saved by Cobleskill. Lavornia would play solid in net in the second half, recording 9 of her 19 saves in the half. Tigers would add 4 more goals in the second half ti take the game 14-0.
The Eagles return to action on Sunday when they travel to SUNYIT at 12 pm.
