New Rochelle, N.Y.- The College of Saint Elizabeth's volleyball team dropped a pair of games at the College of New Rochelle on Saturday.
The Eagles struggled in game 1, dropping the match (12-25, 10-25, 12-25) to the College of New Rochelle. Nicole Morera had a team high 9 digs while Lynette Hardy added a team high 8 assists and 3 service aces. Attack errors doomed the Eagles as they committed 16 unforced errors in the match.
CSE played much better in the second game vs. Mitchell College, but dropped the match (19-25, 21-25, 20-25). Hardy and Morera both tallied 8 digs a piece while Hardy added 12 assists at the net. Kiana Cunningham finished with a team high 3 service aces.
The loses dropped the Eagles to a game under .500 with a 7-8 record. CSE returns to action on Sunday when they host Pratt Institute and The King's College in a tri-match.
