Biography

Shervonne Gittens is a Mathematics major at CSE. Shervonne is a 2013 graduate from Benedictine Academy where she played basketball for three seasons. Shervonne was awarded the U.S. Military Fitness & Sports Award and was also a member of the honors program as well as an honor roll student all four years in high school. She is currently the Math and Computer Science Club secretary.

Shervonne is in her second season as a midfielder on the soccer team. Last season, Gittens started in all 17 games and helped the Eagles tremendously on defense. Shervonne was also named the most improved player on the team and was honored with the Elizabeth F. Ford Service Award last year.

In the classroom, Shervonne is in the Honors program, is a member of the Dean's List, and is the Vice President of the Math and Computer Science Club. Gittens was also named the 2014-15 Student-Worker of the Year at the annual Student Appreciation Celebration at CSE.
