Prior to Saint Elizabeth, Alex served as Head Coach at the County College of Morris for the last four years. Previously, Katz coached throughout Morris County in a variety of programs including Dover and Morris Hills High Schools, AAU, and middle school club teams.

Katz began her college career at the County College of Morris where she played soccer and basketball. In soccer, she was awarded honorable mention All American at the Junior College Division 1 level and Academic All-American. Katz transferred to Fairleigh Dickinson University, in Florham Park, New Jersey in 2008, where she played both soccer and basketball. After earning her Bachelor's in History and her Master's in Secondary Education, she graduated Summa Cum Laude.Â

Currently, Katz serves as a teacher of a variety of Social Studies classes at Parsippany High School.Â
