Xavier Fuller enters his fifth season as assistant coach at Saint Elizabeth University. He was hired in August of 2016 to assume the role of assistant coach and join the first-ever Saint Elizabeth men's basketball staff.
"Coach Fuller has proven to be a versatile young coach that really connects well with players," said head coach
James Adams. "Building a program from nothing is an easy task. Coach Fuller's work ethic will be a valuable asset to the program moving forward."
In his four seasons under former head coach and current AD
Tom Wagenblast, Coach Fuller was responsible for recruiting, player development, and on-campus relations. Saint Elizabeth saw its best season on the court in 2019-20 when the team qualified for its first conference tournament berth in program history. The Eagles were also ranked #4 in NCAA Division III for Man Defense (SynergySports).
Fuller is a 2015 graduate from Kean University with a bachelors degree in Recreation Administration. While at Kean, Fuller was a four year member of the basketball team and played under
Tom Wagenblast.
Coach Fuller comes to Saint Elizabeth eager and excited about the challenge. "I love the game of basketball and I'm very excited for the opportunity to continue my journey in the sport as a coach at Saint Elizabeth University."
Fuller currently resides in Carteret, New Jersey.
