The Saint Elizabeth University 2012-2013 academic year began with the addition of two brand-new sports venues for school year's athletic events: a regulation softball complex and six tiered hard tennis courts.
The $1.1 million athletic facilities project stands on land owned by the Sisters of Charity in a shared arrangement with SEU, the Academy of Saint Elizabeth (the Academy's students will also use the facilities) and the Sisters of Charity. The six enclosed, terraced, hard courts are being used by the SEU tennis team for games and practice sessions as well as for instructional classes.
The softball field is completely enclosed with seating for approximately 200, a permanent electronic scoreboard, an enclosed dugout, an irrigation system and a bullpen for two pitchers and two catchers.
Outdoor Facilities Include:
- NCAA regulation-size softball field

- Six tennis courts (fully fenced)
- Grass soccer/lacrosse field
