St. Elizabeth University Track & Field Posts Strong Performances and Personal Bests in Osprey Open

Galloway, N.J. – The St. Elizabeth University track & field teams continued their outdoor season with a strong showing this weekend, posting multiple personal-best performances, several top-five finishes, and standout relay results across the men's and women's competitions.

The Eagles were led by strong performances in the relays, jumps, hurdles, and middle-distance events, while several student-athletes turned in career-best marks throughout the meet.


Men's 100 Meters

Sayfullah Carter led the Eagles in the men's 100-meter dash, placing eighth overall in 11.21. Arikan Yilmaz followed in 12.08, while freshmen Lavar Green and Zavier Bell posted times of 13.97 and a personal-best 14.98, respectively.

Women's 100 Meters

In the women's 100-meter dash, Awa Doumbia paced St. Elizabeth with a 13th-place finish and a personal-best 13.61. NyJewlah Coleman added a personal-best 15.78, while Sasha Green also recorded a personal-best 17.39.


Men's 200 Meters

Freshman Nyjier Lewis led the Eagles in the men's 200 meters with a personal-best 28.13. Green followed with a personal-best 30.64, while Bell added another personal-best performance in 32.59.

Women's 200 Meters

For the women, Jessica Felix finished the 200 meters in 32.66, while NyJewlah Coleman posted a 34.43. Sasha Green also recorded a personal-best 38.98.


Men's 400 Meters

Joshua Ford turned in one of the Eagles' top individual performances on the track, placing 11th overall with a personal-best 56.54. Michael Cullen also competed and finished in 1:01.62.

Women's 400 Meters

Cadera Harrell represented St. Elizabeth in the women's 400 meters, crossing the line in 1:13.86.


Men's 400-Meter Hurdles

The Eagles were represented by a strong pair in the men's 400-meter hurdles. Tye-rell Monroe placed seventh overall in 1:08.01, while Tyler Andersen-Mayes added a personal-best 1:21.22.


Men's 800 Meters

Freshman Raoul-Michel Bouzi posted a season-best 2:11.03 in the men's 800 meters to lead St. Elizabeth.

Women's 800 Meters

In the women's 800 meters, Talissa Sakar finished in 3:13.43. Freshmen Amerie Ordonez and Libni Gijon each recorded personal-best performances, crossing in 3:26.28 and 3:29.84, respectively.


Men's 1500 Meters

Freshman Eliezer Cortes turned in a personal-best 5:07.80 in the men's 1500 meters. Tyler Andersen-Mayes also recorded a personal-best 5:22.02.

Women's 1500 Meters

For the women, Amerie Ordonez finished in 7:13.82, while Libni Gijon posted a 7:22.17.


Men's 3000-Meter Steeplechase

Tyler Andersen-Mayes delivered one of the Eagles' top distance finishes of the day, placing fourth overall in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a personal-best 13:19.73.


Men's High Jump

In the men's high jump, Tye-rell Monroe cleared a personal-best 1.81 meters (5-11.25) to place fourth overall.


Men's Long Jump

Jordan Lomax led the Eagles in the men's long jump with an eighth-place finish at 5.86 meters (19-2.75). Arikan Yilmaz and CamRon Martel each posted jumps of 5.34 meters (17-6.25), while Nyjier Lewis added a mark of 4.22 meters (13-10.25).

Women's Long Jump

Awa Doumbia added another strong performance in the women's long jump, placing fifth overall with a personal-best 4.64 meters (15-2.75).


Men's Shot Put

Freshman Christopher Clark-Stokes paced the Eagles in the men's shot put, placing 14th overall with a throw of 10.91 meters (35-9.5). Randel Romero followed with a mark of 7.38 meters (24-2.5).

Men's Discus

In the men's discus, Randel Romero posted a top throw of 18.66 meters (61-2).

Men's Javelin

Christopher Clark-Stokes again led St. Elizabeth in the men's javelin with a throw of 34.60 meters (113-6). Randel Romero followed at 24.76 meters (81-2), while Zavier Bell recorded 17.70 meters (58-1).

Women's Javelin

Ericka Menaling-Trajano recorded a personal-best 19.72 meters (64-8) in the women's javelin to finish 13th overall.


Men's 4x100-Meter Relay

The men's 4x100-meter relay team of Jordan Lomax, Joshua Ford, Tye-rell Monroe, and Sayfullah Carter turned in one of the Eagles' top performances of the day, finishing second overall in a season-best 44.93.

Women's 4x100-Meter Relay

The women's 4x100-meter relay squad of Jessica Felix, Talissa Sakar, Cadera Harrell, and Awa Doumbia finished fifth in 59.47.


Men's 4x200-Meter Relay

St. Elizabeth's men's 4x200-meter relay team of Sayfullah Carter, Raoul-Michel Bouzi, Joshua Ford, and CamRon Martel placed sixth in 1:37.70.

Women's 4x200-Meter Relay

The women's 4x200-meter relay team of Talissa Sakar, Ericka Menaling-Trajano, Jessica Felix, and NyJewlah Coleman also finished sixth, posting a time of 2:07.19.


Men's 4x400-Meter Relay

The men's 4x400-meter relay of CamRon Martel, Joshua Ford, Sayfullah Carter, and Raoul-Michel Bouzi placed fourth overall in a season-best 3:52.28.

Women's 4x400-Meter Relay

The women's 4x400-meter relay team of Awa Doumbia, Talissa Sakar, Aliyah Folarin, and Taleyah Barnhill crossed in 4:51.47, good for fifth place and a season-best.


Men's 4x800-Meter Relay

The men's 4x800-meter relay team of Raoul-Michel Bouzi, Michael Cullen, Tyler Andersen-Mayes, and Eliezer Cortes posted a fourth-place finish in 9:42.89.
