MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The St. Elizabeth University men's volleyball team opened the week with a strong effort against Neumann University, taking the opening set before the Knights rallied to claim the Atlantic East Conference matchup.
The Eagles showed energy early and controlled stretches of the match behind a balanced offensive attack before Neumann responded in the final three sets.
Kennedy Ibezim paced Saint Elizabeth with 19 kills, continuing his standout season as one of the Eagles' top offensive threats. Enock Joachim added 10 kills, while Kyzier Kelly contributed six kills and solid play on both sides of the net.
Setter Randel Romero kept the offense moving throughout the match, finishing with 38 assists.
St. Elizabeth continues conference play looking to build on another strong individual showing from its core group.
