Saint Elizabeth Men’s Volleyball Falls at Brooklyn in Straight Sets

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Saint Elizabeth University men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision on the road to Brooklyn College Thursday night at the West Quad Center. The Bears took the match by set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-12.

Saint Elizabeth battled early in the opening set, keeping things tight and showing strong offensive moments. The Eagles were led by Kennedy Ibezim and Ih'Jamir Williams, who each recorded five kills, while Carlos Saldana added three kills and contributed defensively.

After a competitive first set, Brooklyn gained momentum in the second and third frames, capitalizing on service pressure and limiting SEU's offensive rhythm. Saint Elizabeth hit .065 as a team, while Brooklyn finished with a .213 hitting percentage.

Setter Randel Romero paced the Eagles with 14 assists, helping distribute the offense throughout the match. Defensively, libero Jameel Wright posted a team-high six digs, while SEU totaled five team blocks at the net.
