Myrtle Beach, SC- The Saint Elizabeth University Eagles were able to pick up two victories on day two of the team's Myrtle Beach trip, improving to 3-0 on the season, and scoring a combined 27 on the day.

Game 1: Saint Elizabeth 15, Mass. Maritime 4 (5 innings)

Game Breakdown

• After giving up one run in the first, the Eagles would go on to score six runs in the first two innings of play against the Buccaneers.
• The Eagles would not stop there as they would push across nine runs in the fourth inning alone after being held scoreless in the third inning.
• The Eagles would have four players with multi-hit performances on the morning, each player who had a multi-hit performance either had three runs scored or three runs batted in credited to their stat line as well.

Top Performers

• Josilynn Garcia would lead the way for the Eagles, as she would go 3 for 4 with a double on the morning, driving in 3 RBIs on the morning as well as pushing a run across for the Eagles.
• Kara Reyes, who also got the start in the circle for the Eagles, would go the full five innings for the Eagles, striking out five Buccaneers along the way. Reyes, would also pick up a 3 for 4 day, which also included a double, 3 RBIs, and scoring a run for the Eagles.

• Every hitter who stepped up to the plate for the Eagles in the game would successfully reach base.
