MORRISTOWN, N.J. (Dec. 3, 2025) — Saint Elizabeth University Women's Basketball delivered its most commanding performance of the season on Wednesday night, overpowering Trinity Washington University, 91–26, inside St. Joseph's Hall.
The Eagles (3–4) controlled the game from start to finish, outscoring the Tigers in every quarter — including a 25–0 shutout in the fourth period that punctuated SEU's dominant defensive effort. Quarter-by-quarter, SEU posted scoring margins of 22–12, 23–5, 21–9, and 25–0 to close out the win.
Russo and Cobb Lead the Way
Guard Elyssa Russo led all scorers with 27 points, connecting on five three-pointers and grabbing nine rebounds. Guard Ahjionae Cobb added a powerful 23-point, 16-rebound double-double, including seven offensive rebounds that fueled SEU's second-chance opportunities.
