Media, PA- The Saint Elizabeth University men's basketball team battled on the road Saturday afternoon but came up short in a high-scoring contest, falling 101–90 to Penn State Brandywine at Brandywine Commons Gym.
Saint Elizabeth stayed competitive throughout, trailing just 47–41 at halftime before both teams turned up the tempo in the second half. The Eagles scored 49 points after the break, but Penn State Brandywine answered with 54 to hold off the comeback attempt.
Tye-Rell Monroe delivered a standout performance for Saint Elizabeth, pouring in a game-high 30 points while going 13-of-14 from the free throw line. He also added four rebounds and logged all 40 minutes. Rodney Tullis Jr. was highly efficient, scoring 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting while contributing four assists and three steals. Josiah King chipped in 13 points and four assists, while Joseph Mazzola added 11 points and a team-best seven rebounds.
As a team, Saint Elizabeth shot 28-of-64 from the field and knocked down nine three-pointers. The Eagles were aggressive attacking the basket, attempting 39 free throws, and finished with 38 total rebounds and nine steals.

The Eagles will wrap up the 2025 year on Thursday, December 18th, as they will travel to La Plume, PA, to face Keystone, before heading home for the holidays! Tipoff for Thursday's game is set for 6:00pm.
