Morristown, N.J. — December 13, 2025- The Saint Elizabeth University women's basketball team earned a 60–52 victory over Drew University on Saturday afternoon at St. Joseph's Hall, improving to 4–4 on the season.
After a tight opening quarter that ended with Drew having a slight 15–13 advantage, the Eagles took control in the second period behind a balanced offensive attack and strong defensive pressure. Saint Elizabeth outscored Drew 21–13 in the quarter, highlighted by timely perimeter shooting and aggressive play in the paint, to carry a 34–28 lead into halftime.
Senior guard Yasminah White led all scorers with 22 points, adding six rebounds and four steals in a complete performance on both ends of the floor. Mya Davis chipped in 12 points and eight rebounds, while Elyssa Russo added nine points and four boards off the bench to help maintain the Eagles' momentum.
Drew attempted to rally in the third quarter, trimming the deficit with improved ball movement, but Saint Elizabeth responded by controlling the glass and limiting second-chance opportunities. The Eagles won the rebounding battle 47–40 and used that edge to protect their lead entering the final frame.
In the fourth quarter, Saint Elizabeth sealed the win with clutch free-throw shooting and composed half-court offense, holding Drew to 11 points over the final 10 minutes. The Eagles finished the game shooting 37.3 percent from the field and knocked down five three-pointers, while forcing 21 Drew turnovers.

The Eagles will return to action on Wednesday, December 17th, as they will travel to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, to face Penn College, with tipoff set for 5:00PM.
