The Saint Elizabeth University women's basketball team put together a strong second-half push but couldn't overcome an early deficit, falling 72–64 to King's (PA) on Wednesday night inside St. Joseph's Hall.
Game Summary
The Eagles (2–3) battled through a cold start offensively, scoring 25 points in the first half while King's built a 12-point lead at the break. Saint Elizabeth responded out of halftime with renewed energy, outscoring the Monarchs 39–35 over the final two quarters and knocking down four three-pointers in the third to spark a comeback.
Despite trimming the deficit multiple times, SEU was unable to get over the hump as King's answered key runs down the stretch.
