Newark, NJ (November 15th, 2025)- Saint Elizabeth University Men's Basketball put together one of its strongest offensive outings of the young season, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with a red-hot Pitt-Bradford squad in a 113–86 defeat on Saturday afternoon at The Golden Dome in Newark, N.J.
SEU shot an efficient 54.5% from the field and had five players reach double figures, but turnovers proved costly as the Eagles surrendered 28 points off giveaways. Despite hanging tough early and matching Pitt-Bradford's pace through the opening minutes, the Eagles trailed 63–39 at halftime and couldn't fully erase the deficit.
Tye-Rell Monroe led Saint Elizabeth with 17 points, knocking down two threes while adding three rebounds and an assist. Johnathan Quiles II was electric off the bench, pouring in 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including 3-of-4 from deep, to spark the Eagles' second-half push. Edwim Mercado and Josiah King each chipped in 10 points, while Lawrence Reid contributed 9 points and 6 boards.
SEU did much of its damage in transition, scoring 31 fast-break points, and held its own in the paint with 42 interior points. The Eagles' bench also produced a strong 40-point outing.
