Madison, N.J. (Nov. 11, 2025) — Saint Elizabeth University Women's Basketball dropped a hard-fought road contest to FDU-Florham on Tuesday night, 78–65, at the Ferguson Recreation Center.
Senior guard Ahjionae Cobb led the Eagles with 21 points, adding five rebounds and four assists while connecting on 6-of-22 from the floor and 6-of-8 from the line. Mya Davis added 15 points and eight rebounds, while Elyssa Russo chipped in 12 points, including three triples. My'shiah McQueen nearly recorded a double-double with eight points and nine boards.
Saint Elizabeth (1–1) started hot, racing to a 9–0 lead behind early threes from Russo and Davis and a jumper by Cobb. The Eagles led 14–9 after the first quarter and held a 32–27 advantage at halftime, fueled by a 50% shooting clip from beyond the arc and steady defense.
The Eagles return to action later this week as they will travel to Wilkes-Barre, PA, to face Wilkes, with tip off set for 6:00PM.
