MORRISTOWN, N.J. (October 30, 2025) – The Saint Elizabeth University women's volleyball team earned a commanding 3–1 victory over Pratt Institute on Wednesday night inside St. Joseph's Hall.
The Eagles came out strong, taking the first two sets 25–17 and 25–16 before the Cannoneers rallied to claim the third 25–21. Saint Elizabeth closed out the match with a decisive 25–22 win in the fourth.
Senior outside hitter Marissa Heimbaugh led the charge with an all-around performance, tallying 13 kills, 6 service aces, and 16 digs to finish with a match-high 19 points. Sienna Volpe added 9 kills and 10 digs, while Mia Gonzales was efficient at the net, recording 8 kills on a .357 hitting percentage.
Setter Ericka Menaling Trajano directed the offense with 18 assists, while Alyssa Wells anchored the defense with 13 digs and chipped in 4 assists and a service ace. Dadlyna Louis and Marissa Jean Baptiste contributed strong two-way efforts with a combined 12 kills and 5 total blocks.
As a team, Saint Elizabeth hit .192 for the match with 45 kills, 12 service aces, and 5 total blocks, holding Pratt to a .034 hitting percentage. The Eagles' aggressive serving kept the Cannoneers on the defensive, forcing 16 service errors and limiting their rhythm throughout the contest.
