Morristown, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth University Women's Volleyball team welcomed Marymount University to town on October 2nd.
Match Breakdown
- Sets one and two played out very similar to one another, as both sets would start off in a deadlock, with neither team seeming to get an edge on the other. However, the Saints would go on two separate runs to give them the advantage & win.
- In set one, Marymount would take advantage of an 11-3 run, to take the set 25-14.
- In set two, Marymount would use a 9-1 to close out set two, 25-16, to take a 2-0 lead heading into set three
- In set three, the Saints would go on multiple runs throughout, to win the set 25-14, and win the match 3-0.
Key Performers
- Dadlyna Louis would lead the team in points & kills, and she would pick up nine points, off of seven kills, while also picking up two block assists, and a solo block.
- Victoria Compton would lead the Eagles in assists, as she would tally 11 on the night, while also have three digs defensively for the Eagles.
- Alyssa Wells would lead the team in both digs and service aces, as she would pick up four service aces, while picking up nine digs for the Eagles on the night.
