Morristown, N.J.– Saint Elizabeth University earned a crucial 2–1 conference victory over Immaculata University on Saturday night at SEU Soccer Field.

After a scoreless first half, the Eagles broke through in the 51st minute when Tugay Bozogluer converted a penalty kick to give Saint Elizabeth the lead. Just four minutes later, Franco Arteaga doubled the advantage, finishing from close range to make it 2–0.

Immaculata pulled one back in the 80th minute, but SEU's defense, anchored by goalkeeper Andrew Gonzalez, held firm the rest of the way. Gonzalez finished with seven saves in 90 minutes of play.

Bozogluer and Arteaga led the attack, combining for both goals and three of the team's five shots on target.
