Eagles Pull Off Comeback To Earn First Win vs. Lehman

Bronx, NY- The Saint Elizabeth Men's Soccer team picked up their first win of the season on Saturday, September 7th, as they took down Lehman College in the Bronx 3-2.

As mentioned this was the Eagles' first win on the season as they now move their record to 1-2-0, as for Lehman they drop to 0-2-0.

After being down 2-0 to late into the second half, Sebastian Londono would score an unassisted goal to cut the deficit in half making the score 2-1 Lehman. Brandon Quishpi would then score twice less than 10 minutes later to make the score 3-2, with Londono picking up assists on both goals, Marvin Miranda would also pick up an assist on Quishpi's second goal. Stuart Estrada was able to pick up a save agains the four shots that came from the Lightning Bugs.

The Eagles were able to out shoot the Lightning Bugs 15-4 with shots on goal also being in favor of the Eagles 9-3. Saint Elizabeth was also able to get more corner kick opportunities then Lehman, getting ten as opposed to Lehman's three.

Up Next for The Eagles

The Eagles will be on the road for their next match-up, however they will not have to travel far as they will face FDU-Florham in Madison, NJ, with kick off scheduled for 7:00PM.
