Brooklyn, NY- The Saint Elizabeth Women's Volleyball team suffered a 3-0 defeat on the road to Pratt Institute on Friday, September 6th.

With this loss the Eagles are back at even .500 record at 2-2 on the young season. Meanwhile the Cannoneers, pull to an even .500 record as they are 1-1 on the early season.

The Cannoneers were able to win both the first and the second set by a score of 25-21, before completing the sweep taking the third set 25-22.

For the Eagles, Taylor Liriano led the way in kills for the Eagles, picking up eight on the night. Dadlyna Louis was one kill behind Liriano picking up seven on the night. Marissa Heimbaugh tallied four kills on the night, while Sarah St. Foi was also able to contribute a kill for the Eagles on the night. In terms of assists, Kristina Ashton was able to pick up 14 assists on the night leading the Eagles. Liriano and Alyssa Wells both had a pair of assists to contribute for the Eagles, Louis also was able to pick up an assist on the night for the Eagles.

On the defensive side, Liriano and Heimbaugh both picked up 11 digs on the night. Louis and teammate Sophie Galchus both picked up three blocking assists on the night, while Louis was also able to pick up two solo blocks.

The Eagles will be back in action on Monday, September 9th, as they will travel to New York, NY, to take on Yeshiva University with game time scheduled for 7:00pm.
