Kendle & Fearon Help Eagles Shutout Cannoneers At Home

Morristown, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth Women's Soccer Team was able to earn a hard fought home victory vs. the Pratt Institute Cannoneers on Tuesday, September 17th, as they were able to beat Pratt 1-0.

With this win the Eagles will go above .500 once again on the season as they improve their record to 3-2-1, with the loss Pratt now pulls even at .500 going 3-3 on the season.

Laila Kendle was able to score the Eagles lone goal halfway into the second half, scoring off a fast-break by the Eagle offense. With this goal for Kendle, she now ties her record for most goals in a single season, her next goal will break her record which she set back in the 2022 season. Paige Neal was able to put five shots for the Eagles as well, with three of her shots being on target.

Salma Ibrahim got the start for the Eagles, making a crucial save early in the first half. Ibrahim would be replaced due to injury by Emily Fearon, and Fearon put on a display in the net, picking up 15 saves on the afternoon, shutting out the Pratt scoring attack for the game.

The Eagles will return to action on Friday, September 20th, as they will travel to Purchase, NY, to take on Purchase College before beginning conference play on Saturday, September 28th.
