The bottom of the lineup helped Saint Elizabeth University capture a 3-0 victory over Marymount University on Tuesday.

Anna Popola, and Sam Hemhauser combined for four of the team's eight hits in the victory. They scored one run and drove in one.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Saint Elizabeth's pitchers struck out two while Marymount's pitchers struck out two as well. The Eagles opened the scoring in the second after
Anna Popola doubled, scoring one run. Saint Elizabeth was able to add another run in the third inning after
Savannah VanWinkle doubled.Â
Kami DeGaetani started the game for the Eagles and pitched well. The starting pitcher surrendered six hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out two and walking one.
Anna Popola, Saint Elizabeth's number seven hitter, led the team with three hits in three at-bats.

Jadyn Barker each drove in one run for the Eagles. Saint Elizabeth also turned one double play in the game. The fielding was on point as the Eagles did not commit single error in the game.
Bell Edwards made the most defensive plays with six.
Saint Elizabeth will take on Penn State Harrisburg in their next game to finish a two-game Tuesday.
