Evan Collier named Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach

Evan J. Collier brings a wealth of experience in leadership, policy advocacy, and athletic coaching to his new role as Head Men's Track and Field and Men's and Women's Cross-Country Coach at Saint Elizabeth's University. His commitment to excellence extends beyond the legislative arena, as evidenced by his successful career in athletics and dedication to mental health and wellness.

Collier's academic journey has been characterized by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and excellence. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University, where he honed his critical thinking and analytical skills. Building upon this foundation, Collier pursued advanced studies at Fordham Law School, where he obtained his Masters degree with a focus on Corporate Ethics and Compliance.

Collier founded Team S.T.A.T.I.C., a nonprofit AAU basketball team based in Kenilworth, NJ, dedicated to supporting talented athletes through intentional communication. Additionally, he co-founded SoulCivics, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing youth participation in the civic arena through educational programming, state house tours, and exposure to the legislative process.  

Furthermore, Collier serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Brothership Incorporated, a nonprofit focused on enhancing skillsets, education, and fostering relationships through networking opportunities.  

Collier brings valuable coaching experience to his new role. He recently completed his first season as the assistant men's basketball coach under James Adams, where they achieved unprecedented success. The team shattered records for most wins in a single season, most playoff wins in a single season, and secured the first-ever Skye Divisional Championship Title, showcasing Collier's ability to contribute to a winning program. This achievement underscores his familiarity and commitment to St. Elizabeth's University, affirming that he is no stranger to the institution's ethos of excellence and achievement.

As Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at St. Elizabeth's University, Collier is poised to inspire and empower student-athletes to excel both on and off the field, leveraging his unique blend of legislative acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, athletic expertise, and dedication to holistic well-being.
