On a cool, sunny Wednesday in Bronx, NY, the Saint Elizabeth University Baseball team had the bats on fire as they defeated Lehman College 22-5. This win marks the second victory in a row for the Eagles.
On the mound,
Nic DiSciascio started for the Eagles and got the win to make him 1-2 on the season. The right handed pitcher struck out 6 batters in 3 innings and allowed 4 walks. The bullpen shut the door not allowing any runs for the final 4 innings.
Kevin Conway Jr. struck out the side in 3 at bats for a scoreless inning.
Bryan Rivera struck out 3 and allowed 1 walk in 1 inning of work.
Matt Hart struck out 2 guys and had 1 flyout in his lone inning of work.

Ryan Deal went 3-for-4 including a homerun in the 2nd inning to go along with 4 runs and 1 walk drawn. 3B
Gabe Castro went 4-for-5 and also homered finishing with 3 RBIs and 4 runs.
Cole Weingarten went 2-for-4 including a double to right center in the 4th inning finishing with 2 RBIs. The Eagles finished with a season-high 23 hits. A total of 14 different players recorded a hit for Saint Elizabeth University
The Eagles next game will be their home opener on Saturday March 16th against Baruch College. The game will begin at 3pm at Snyder Avenue Park in Berkeley Heights, NJ.
