The Saint Elizabeth University Women's Basketball team went on the road Wednesday night to take on the Falcons of Cedar Crest College. The Eagles used a high-scoring second quarter to build up their lead and were able to hold on as Cedar Crest attempted a comeback in the fourth quarter. With the win, the Eagles move to 18-4 overall and 13-2 in conference play. The Falcons now sit at 9-10 overall and 8-8 in conference play.
Destiny Battle finished the game with 17 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals.
Yasminah White contributed 16 points, 5 steals, and 4 rebounds.
Ahjionae Cobb added 14 points off the bench.
Mya Davis registered 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.Â
The next game for the Eagles will be Senior Day on Saturday February 10. Saint Elizabeth will take on Clarks Summit University at 1pm after the senior day festivities.
