The Saint Elizabeth Men's Volleyball team continued their home stand Tuesday night against John Jay College. The Eagles fought hard in the first set before eventually dropping the set 25-21. The Bloodhounds would eventually defeat the Eagles in three sets despite some promising individual performances. The Eagles drop to 1-5 on the young season while the Bloodhounds improve to 3-1.
Kodi Peters led the Eagles in kills with 7 and also recorded 2 digs.
Eddy Pena contributed 4 kills and 5 digs. Setter
Diego Rondon led the Eagles in assists finishing with 11. while adding 5 digs.
Jerry Chablay registered 12 digs on the night.
The Eagles will now go on the road for their first tri-match of the season at Neumann University. The first match is scheduled to begin at 1pm against Marymount University at the Mirenda Center. The second match will be held at 3pm against the host team Neumann University.
