Men's Basketball Ends Historic Season in Harrisburg

The Saint Elizabeth University Men's Basketball team ended its history-breaking season Saturday after a loss to Penn State Harrisburg on the road. The United East Volt Division number one seed pulled out to an early lead and used a hot shooting night to down the Eagles. The Eagles end the season with the best record in program history at 18-11. With the win, the Lions improve to 24-4 on the season and advance to the NCAA tournament.

"We ran into a very good Harrisburg team but I couldn't be prouder of this group of young men," said head men's basketball coach James Adams. "I'm excited that we were able to win our very first championship in program history and with so many guys expected to return I want to be on this stage again next season."

D'Angelo Blackmond recorded his ninth double-double of the season with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Jonathan Ramos added 13 points and 3 rebounds. Tye-Rell Monroe finished with 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. Nasir Owens and Malamin Kaba each contributed 8 points each.

The Eagles will look to continue to raise the bar next season as they expect to bring back 8 of their top 10 scorers. Stay tuned to seueagles.com for updates on the 2024-25 season.
