The Saint Elizabeth University Men's Volleyball team traveled to Aston, PA on Saturday to compete in their first tri-match of the season. The Eagles would battle hard but fall to Marymount University and Neumann University. The Eagles now sit at 1-7 on the season.
In the first match against Marymount University, the Eagles battled hard but would drop the match 0-3.
Kodi Peters registered 5 kills and 3 digs.
Kennedy Ibezim would also help the Eagles with 5 kills.
Diego Rondon did a great job setting and finished with 18 assists and 5 digs.
Jerry Chablay contributed 7 digs for the match.
In the second match against Neumann University, we saw a few different Eagles contribute. Peters ended with 7 kills and 6 digs. Ibezim added 6 kills including 2 service aces. Chablay chipped in with 6 digs.Â
Kyzier Kelly finished with 4 kills while
Eusebio Veras and
Francisco Jardinez finished with 3 kills each.Â
The Eagles will go on the road next against in-state rival NJCU on Tuesday February 13. Match time is scheduled for 7pm in Jersey City, NJ
