Morristown, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth University Men's Basketball team picked up their first victory of the 2024-25 campaign over Hartwick on Monday, November 18th.
With this win, the Eagles improve their record, to 1-3 on the season. For the Hawks, they now fall to 0-4 on the season following the loss.
Tye-Rell Monroe would lead the Eagles, going 13-16 from the field, and 6-9 three point range. Monroe would picked up 33 points, while also picking up five rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two assists on the night.
Jonathan Ramos would be tally 20 points, while going 8-14 from the field, and 4-7 from behind the arc. Ramos would also tally nine rebounds, eight assists, and one block on the night for the Eagles.
Joe Mazzola would round out the double digit scorers for the Eagles, as he would go 4-4 from the field, to go with 3-3 from the field. Mazzola would end with 11 points, and also picking up three assists on the night for the Eagles.
Cam'Ron Martel would pick up seven points for the Eagles, to go along with four rebounds, and a block on the night.
Malamin Kaba would tally six points for the Eagles while also picking up an assist and a rebound on the night.
Jordan Lomax,
Cam Stewart-Bethea, and
Osiris Melendez, all picked up four points on the night for the Eagles, as the trio would combine for seven assists, three rebounds, a block, and three steals.
Nate Thompson would pick up three points and three rebounds for the Eagles, while also tallying an assist. Rounding out the scoring for the Eagles was
Noel Rolon, who would pick up two points on the night, ass well as a rebound and an assist.
