Eagles Take Down Falcons In Four

Morristown, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth Women's Volleyball team picked up a home victory on Tuesday, October 22nd, as they defeated Albertus Magnus by a final of 3-1.

The Eagles would go on to win the first two sets keeping the Falcons under 20 points winning, by finals of 25-17 & 25-15. The Falcons would win a competitive third set, winning 26-24. The Eagles would then seal the deal winning a competitive fourth set, 25-23.

Following the win, the Eagles now improve to 8-12 on the season. The Falcons, following the loss, drop even at 11-11 on the season.

Dadlyna Louis would lead the team in points and earning a double-double, earning 17.5 points, off of 12 kills, to go with 3 service aces, a solo block, and three block assists. Onye Bosco, would also finish with a double-double, earning 13 points, off 11 kills, as well as tallying 4 block assists. Marissa Heimbaugh would be the next Eagle to tally double-digit points, and a double-double, as she would tally 11 points off of seven kills, to go along with four service aces, and 17 digs on the night. Sienna Volpe would round out the Eagles on double-digit scorers, and double-doubles on the night as she would tally 10.5 points, off 10 kills, as well as picking up a block assist. Stephanie Jaramillo, tallied 6.5 points for the Eagles, as she would pick up four kills to go with a solo block, as well as three block assists. Sophie Galchus picked up 4.5 points on the night for the Eagles, as she would tally, three kills, along with three block assists. Ericka Menaling Trajano, would pick up four points for the Eagles, earning four service aces, to also go along with 11 assists on the night. Kristina Ashton & Alyssa Wells, each finished with three points each to round out the scoring for the Eagles, as Ashton would pick up her points off of one kill, and two serivce aces, while also picking up 26 assists, While Wells, would pick up three service aces for the Eagles.

Up Next for Saint Elizabeth

The Eagles will return to action on Wednesday, October 23rd, as they will travel to La Plume, PA, to face Keystone, as the Eagles look to resume conference play vs. the Giants, with game time scheduled for 7PM.
