The Saint Elizabeth University Men's Basketball team travelled on the road Monday night to take on the Defenders of Clarks Summit University. The Eagles jumped out to a commanding 38-22 halftime lead and never looked back. The Eagles move up to 2nd place in the United East Skye Division with a 6-2 conference record. The Defenders fall to 0-7 in conference play.
Pierre Harden came off the bench to lead the team in scoring and rebounding with 21 points and 9 rebounds.
Jonathan Ramos finished with 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals.
D'Angelo Blackmond chipped in with 13 points and 2 steals.
Tye-Rell Monroe scored 11 points.
After 3 consecutive road contests, the Eagles will return home for a game against Rosemont College on Wednesday January 17th. Tip-off is scheduled for 8pm in Morristown, NJ.
