The Saint Elizabeth Men's Soccer team played an exciting back and forth match that saw them earn a victory over the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College. The win improves the Eagles overall record to 6-1.
Sebastian Londono was aggressive early for the Eagles, scoring an unassisted goal in the 11th minute. The Bulldogs then stormed back with 2 goals of their own. However, in the second half the Eagles dominated outscoring Brooklyn 3-1. Londono found the net for the second time on an assist by
Afrim Amoah-Mensah to tie the match.
Alejandro Lopez and
Cody Ikner gave the Eagles lead with goals in the 76th and 84th minutes respectively. Ikner's goal was assisted by
Edwin Martinez.
The Eagles continue their campaign with a challenging road test against Cairn University on Saturday September 30th.
