Saint Elizabeth University Men's Soccer knocked on the door of history today against Medgar Evers College. The Eagles dominated in an 8-1 victory to extend their win streak to 5 games, tying the program record.

Eddy Castro was aggressive early in the match scoring 2 goals in the first 30 minutes. Cody Ikner found his range in the second half, scoring goals in the 62nd and 63rd minutes. Four additional Eagles found the back of the net including Bryan Cervantes (26th minute), Afrim Amoah-Mensah (31st minute), Carlos Saldana (61st minute), and David Aboussleman (73rd minute). Seven of the Eagles' eight goals were assisted on. Justin Couto played brilliantly in goal only allowing one score in 90 minutes.

The Eagles will look to break the program record for consecutive wins against the University of Valley Forge on September 23rd at home. Kick off will be at 4pm at Robert T. Shields Field in Madison, NJ.
