Saint Elizabeth University Women's Soccer opened up their season at home on Friday, September 1. In an afternoon game against York College, the Eagles walked away with a 14-0 victory. The last time Saint Elizabeth and York met, the Eagles lost 2-1.
Ten different players found the back of the net, including five first-year players.
Laila Kendle earned her first hat-trick of the season, followed by
Milagros Rodriguez-Franco and
Chelsea Sarmiento with two goals a piece. Rpdriguez-Franco opened up the scoring 34 seconds into the first half.
Dayanna Vera delivered three assists and goalkeeper
Salma Ibrahim earned her first shutout of the season.
Their next match is on Tuesday, September 5 at 4pm away at Brooklyn College.
