Saint Elizabeth women's basketball came all the way back from being down 12 at the end of the third quarter to secure their third conference victory of the season. The Eagles would end up scoring 30 points in a frantic fourth quarter to propel the team to victory. The Eagles improve 3-1 in the United East Skye Division while the Lions drop their first conference game to make their record 3-1.
Destiny Battle was the leading scorer for the Eagles with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals. Freshman
Mya Davis made all three of the Eagles' three pointers on the way to a 14 point, 9 rebound performance.
Ahjionae Cobb was hot from the short corner and contributed 12 points and 5 rebounds.Â
The Eagles will have a quick turnaround for their next game on Sunday December 10 at home versus Trinity Washington University. Last season, the Eagles defeated the Tigers in a 62-61 battle in Washington, DC.Â
